Blood Bank #787
BMC strongly supports blood donation. Anytime a BMC member donates blood locally, you can provide them with our group name and our number (787), and you will be entered in a Blue Moon Cruiser drawing at the end of the year.
Building Committee
The building committee is the group of BMC who are working towards the goal of purchasing land and creating a club building. Please see the FAQ for more information.
Education Scholarships
BMC offers two $1,000 scholarships annually to high school students who are pursuing further education in an automotive related field. Read about the latest award: (click here)
Fall Foliage Run
In the fall, the BMC takes a scenic drive together to a place of local interest. Frequently, there is a stop for a snack or ice cream!
50/50
A 50/50 raffle is held at most BMC meetings and functions. Half of the total raised is given to the winner, the other half goes to the club’s general fund
Oldie’s Dance
Each year in late winter or early spring, the club hosts an Oldie’s dance with live music and fun for everyone!
Fun Run
The fun run is one of the largest car shows in the area. This is not a 5k run, or a cruising event, but rather a fun gathering and opportunity to show off your car for a multitude of trophies and prizes.
Helping Hands
This is the committee that allocates the charitable donations that the club makes each year.
Membership Cards
Each BMC member will receive a card mailed to them every year. If you show this card to some of our advertisers, you may receive a discount.
Newsletter
BMC mails a newsletter periodically to the members. This provides information about current club events. Register to get yours emailed to save on postage.
Welcome Committee
BMC wants to ensure that every new member feels welcomed, and part of the group. We will reach out to you upon your membership, to answer any questions you may have about the club or involvement.
Road Clean Up
Twice a year, a team of BMC clean up trash from a section of Interstate 81 in the Carlisle area.
Roster Book
BMC annually produces a Roster Book which contains a wealth of information for their members. The book contains member information, schedule of meetings, cruises, officers, contacts for most functions, and all our advertisers.
Spring Picnic
The Helping Hands committee coordinates a spring picnic for the club members and their families.
Sunshine Lady
The BMC likes to keep its members in its thoughts and try to boost the spirits of anyone who has suffered an illness, hospitalization, or loss. Get well, sympathy, and thinking of you cards are available. Flowers are sent in the event of a loss or hospitalization. Please let the Sunshine Lady know if you have had any major life event or illness.
Website Committee
BMC Website committee focuses on keeping the website up to date, determining what needs to be on the website.
